The Regional Delegation of the European Commission to Central
America and Panama envisages the employment of Contract Agents Groups II and III
for the Delegations at:
Nicaragua:
• NIC-02-07 : An ICT Regional Service Officer:
Contract Agent - Group III
Honduras:
• HND-01-07: A Secretary to the
“Charge de Affaires”: Contract Agent - Group II
• HND-02-07: An
Administrative Assistant: Contract Agent – Group III
El Salvador:
• SLV-01-07: A Secretary to the
“Charge de Affaires”: Contract Agent - Group II
• SLV:02-07: An
Administrative Assistant: Contract Agent – Group III
The posts are subject to the provisions of the Vienna
Convention concerning diplomatic staff (Article 37§2). Candidates must be
citizens of EU Member States and cannot be permanent residents of the
country where the post is assigned.
Candidates should be aware of the Commission decision (DO of
31/12/2001, L317 Decision 2001/844 from 29/11/2001) regarding the provisions
concerning security, and more specifically, the request to the selected
candidate to comply with the formalities of a security investigation
(accreditation procedure) to be carried out by a national authority in
accordance with national law.
